Unlike conventional cooling technologies that rely on topical treatments or post-production applications, i2Cool leverages its innovative technology that is embedded directly during the masterbatch stage. When extruded into yarn, i2Cool provides reliable performance that lasts the life of the garment. Even after repeated use and home launderings, there is still exceptional and reliable performance. The fabric also effectively dissipates body heat, achieving a dual effect of “external heat isolation + internal heat dissipation.”
The cooling performance of fabric’s made from i2Cool are nearly three times above average industry requirements for Qmax performance. This technology also provides exceptional UV Protection, Odor Control, and Moisture Management.
How does it work?
i2Cool’s patented cooling technology is utilized during the masterbatch production process, which is then extruded and made into yarn. Through being an embedded technology, i2Cool delivers long-lasting and reliable performance. Unlike finishing treatments that degrade with washing, i2Cool is a masterbatch additive that permanently integrates these functional features into the yarn, ensuring durability and consistent performance. Allowing for wearers to keep cool, feel dry, and stay fresh without ever compromising on the fabric’s comfort, breathability, or mechanical properties.
